Basseterre, St. KittsJune 25, 2018 (DBSKN) — The Development Bank of St. Kitts and Nevis (DBSKN) family and their friends, led by Chairman Mr Warren Thompson and Chief Executive Officer Mr Lenworth Harris, on Saturday June 23 ignored the early morning chill to take part in an energy-sapping ‘Iron Walk’ from Frigate Bay to Major’s Bay in the picturesque Southeast Peninsula.

NATIONALS IN THE DIASPORA ENCOURAGED TO PLAY A GREATER ROLE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ST. KITTS AND NEVIS

 BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, June 25, 2018 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – Nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis living abroad have an important role to play in the promotion of sustainable development in the twin island Federation.

That is one of the key messages that will be echoed throughout this week, as hundreds of Kittitians and Nevisians living abroad return home to participate in the inaugural Diaspora Conference from June 26-28 at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort. The conference will be held under the theme, “Building Partnership Towards Sustainable Development.”

Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 24, 2018 (RSCNPF): Below is a report of arrests, convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period June 21-22, 2018.

ARRESTS AND BAIL:

Arrested: Khalifah Liburd of Buckley’s Development was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for Disorderly Conduct by Fighting.

Arrested: Davil Francis of Buckley’s Estate was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Disorderly Conduct by Fighting.

Arrested: Neville Fahie of Newton Ground was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Failing to Comply With Traffic Pedestrian Signal showing the diagram of an upraised hand and for Making Use of Indecent Language.

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, June 22, 2018 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – Construction work on phase one of the high-end St. Kitts Ramada Resort, which is being developed by Caribbean Galaxy Real Estate Corporation, is progressing at an impressive rate.

That view was expressed by local stakeholders, including Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris, who received a firsthand look at the progress being made on the 273-suite resort during a tour of the facility on Thursday, June 21.
