US Virgin Island Boat captain who smuggled Indians into St. Thomas has been jailed.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 2, 2018 – A United States Virgin Islands boat captain, who assisted Indian nationals who travelled from India to St. Kitts and then boarded commercial flights to Tortola, British Virgin Islands to enter the United States Virgin Islands illegally, has been jailed for conspiracy to traffic illegal immigrants.

Police say body of Guyanese man living on Nevis
showed signs of violence and multiple gunshots wounds

Charlestown, Nevis, March 31, 2018 – A Guyanese resident on Nevis has been confirmed as the Federation’s 8th murder victim for 2018.

Police have identified the victim as 27-year-old Marlon James of Brown Hill, whose body was discovered at Hamilton.

Marlon James is murder victim #8 in St. Kitts and Nevis

Charlestown, Nevis, March 31, 2018 –Another murder in St. Kitts and Nevis. Dead is Marlon James of Brown Hill, Nevis, whose body was found in bushes in the Hamilton area of Nevis on Saturday.

According to sources, James was shot seven times about the body and partially burnt.
