The Department of Labour is inviting persons to come in to its office on the 3rd Floor of the Treasury Chambers Building on the corner of Church and Central Street, to apply to fill a number of vacancies that exist within several companies.
The St.Kitts-Nevis Department of Labour has announced the availability of a number of new vacancies or jobs in the Federation. In a Notice that was issued on Wednesday the Ministry indicated a plethora of new Jobs have recently become available . The Jobs available ranges from Store Clerks to Store Managers to Landscapers and more.
~ Suspects face 4 to 8 years in Papegaai case ~
PHILIPSBURG–The Prosecutor’s Office painted a pitch-black picture Tuesday of the daily routine at Casa Blanca brothel in Oyster Pond between 2010 and 2015. In calling for prison sentences ranging from four to eight years, the Prosecution found it legally and convincingly proven that a large number of women were exploited for the financial gain of the adult entertainment centre’s owners and managers.
Two men shot on Arch road
Detectives are presently investigating a shooting of two men at a “truck wash” located on the Arch road in Sucker Garden. The Emergency Dispatch received the first call at approximately 10.30 p.m. on Tuesday March 14th informing them that two unknown masked gunmen entered the building on the premises where the truck wash is located. Two men who were in the building at the time were shot by these two gun men. Immediately several police patrols and paramedics were sent to the scene to investigate what had taken place.
