In a victory for Bill Cosby, a Pennsylvania judge Friday ordered that only one additional accuser will be allowed to testify in his upcoming criminal sexual assault trial to demonstrate the comedian’s alleged pattern of criminal conduct.

May Pen, Clarendon — The Clarendon Municipal Corporation is taking steps to improve domestic water supplies for the parish’s northern communities where residents are mostly without a reliable supply.
As part of that drive, Mayor of May Pen Winston Maragh has engaged the support of water resource experts from the National Water Commission, Rural Water Supply Limited, and Water Resources Authority, a news release said.
Maragh reiterated at a recent Minor Water committee meeting that the Clarendon Municipal Corporation could no longer afford to continue the trucking of water as the primary method of serving affected communities. He described water trucking as expensive and inadequate.

KINGSTON, Jamaica, Monday March 27, 2017 – After serving three years of their life sentences, Vybz Kartel and his co-convicts are set to make an all-out bid for their freedom in another six months.
An Appeal Court judge recently gave the green light for the convicted murderers to launch their appeal.
Kartel, born Adidja Palmer, Shawn “Storm” Campbell, Andre St John, and Kahira Jones, were all convicted on March 13, 2014 of Clive “Lizard” Williams on August 16, 2011.
Thomas Tavares-Finson, attorney for Kartel, described the development as an “important step in the appeal process”.

CARACAS, Venezuela, Monday March 27, 2017 – In an unusual acknowledgement of his country’s desperate situation, President Nicolas Maduro has asked the United Nations to help address severe shortages of medicine and medical supplies in Venezuela.
“I have asked the United Nations to regularize the whole medicine issue. The United Nations has the most advanced plans to recover the pharmaceutical industry’s productive capacity,” the socialist leader said in a televised address.
With Venezuela mired in the fourth straight year of deep recession, acute shortages of food and many essential goods, including drugs and medical supplies, have become critical.

Senator Hon. Akila Byron-Nisbett was on Saturday March 25th elected to the post of Deputy Political Leader of the Peoples Labour Party. Hon. Byron-Nisbett was given the confidence by her party to stand as the second in command to the leader Prime Minister Dr. Hon Timothy Harris at the party’s historic inaugural convention.
Following the Convention’s Public Session the party rank and file elected their brand new executive. Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris was returned as National Party Leader. The Hon. Akilah Byron-Nisbett was elected the new National Deputy Leader.
