POLICE INVESTIGATING DISCOVERY OF DECEASED INDIVIDUALS ON VESSEL

The St. Kitts – Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF) Coast Guard Base received a report of a vessel drifting southwest of Nevis between the hours of 11AM and 12PM on January 29th, 2025. The SKNDF responded accordingly and towed the vessel to the Coast Guard base on St. Kitts, where it was dry-docked to facilitate further investigation.

Twelve (12) deceased individuals were found at Sea Today by The SKNDF Coast Guard

UPDATE: the number of deceased persons now stands at nineteen (19).

The SKNDF Coast Guard responded Today to a report around 11:00am ,of a boat seen drifting off the coast of Nevis. Upon reaching the vessel, Twelve (12) deceased individuals were found.
Their identities are presently unknown. The vessel has been towed back to St. Kitts for further investigation.
