Employers are being warned against making it mandatory for employees to take the COVID-19 vaccine, which the Saint Lucia Employers Federations said could open the door to legal action.

St Lucia records another COVID death, 39 new cases

The Ministry of Health today confirmed another COVID-19 related death bringing the total number of fatalities to 47.

Death #47 is a 75-year-old man from the Castries district with underlying medical illnesses. He was in care at the time of his passing.

State media is reporting that a decision was made at cabinet today that the curfew hours will run from 8 pm to 5 am as of Monday, March 15th. That curfew will run for one month.

If people are overweight or obese, their chances of hospitalisation or dying from Covid-19 seem to be much higher

A study performed by the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention, has confirmed that obesity significantly increases the risk for hospitalisation and death among those who contract the virus.
