NIA FISCAL INCENTIVE PROGRAMS EXTENDED INTO 2022, SAYS FINANCE MINISTER

NIA CHARLESTOWN NEVIS (December 07, 2021) – A number of fiscal incentive programs introduced by the Nevis Island Administration (NIA) in 2020 will be extended into 2022 to continue bringing relief to the people of Nevis.

The announcement came as part of the Budget Address 2022, delivered by Premier Hon. Mark Brantley, NIA Minister of Finance, on Tuesday, December 07, 2021.

Bermuda detects omicron variant

The latest COVID-19 variant Omicron has been reported in Bermuda where one imported case was recorded over the weekend.  

The Ministry of Health in its COVID-19 update on Tuesday said of the country’s active cases where typing is available, 95 per cent are Delta and 5 per cent are Omicron.
