CFBC PARTICIPATES IN YOUTH AMBASSADOR EXCHANGE

PROGRAMME WITH TAIWAN

Basseterre: St. Kitts, Friday, September 04, 2026:​ Students and representatives of the
Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC) participated in the CBFC Taiwanese International
Youth Ambassador Programme under the theme Celebrating Culture and Collaboration Between
St. Kitts -Nevis and Taiwan.

Ambassador Edward Ling-wen Tao, resident Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to
Saint Kitts and Nevis expressed his gratitude to CFBC for its participation and expounded on the
mission of the programme highlighting the importance of strengthening educational cooperation
between Taiwan and St. Kitts and Nevis.

EDUCATORS THROUGH TARGETED WORKSHOPS

Basseterre: St. Kitts, Thursday, September 03, 2026:​ The Curriculum Development Unit (CDU) hosted a series of workshops from Tuesday, September, 01 to Wednesday,September 02. The goal of the sessions was to analyze the constituents of the OECS Harmonized Primary Curriculum (OHPC) undergoing pilot implementation, enhancing teachers’ expertise, abilities, and classroom methods.

The workshops were carefully categorized and tailored to meet the specific needs of educators at different levels of the education system. The sessions focused on three key areas: addressing issues emerging from the piloted curriculum, preparing teachers for the rollout of the Grade 3 Enhanced Mathematics Curriculum, and introducing secondary school French teachers to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
