Prime Minister Harris thanks supporters, offers an olive branch to Labour supporters
BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, November 28, 2018 (PLP PR Media Inc.) — A parliamentarian for the last twenty five years, Area Parliamentary Representative for Constituency Number Seven Dr the Hon Timothy Harris is looking back and is thanking all those who supported him in the long political journey that has taken him to the highest elective office in the land, and is today the Head of Government.
Twenty five years is indeed a long time. Prime Minister Harris has welcomed more Douglas Labour Party supporters to come join him in building a St. Kitts and Nevis which we can all be proud. The Prime Minister’s offer of an olive branch comes on the heels of a recent Caribbean Development Research Services (CADRES) poll which showed that the Douglas Labour Party was losing support to Team Unity.

The St. Kitts and Nevis Government Reaffirms the High Integrity of the Citizenship by Investment Programme
BASSETERRE, November 28, 2018 – The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis received information concerning alleged misrepresentation of the Programme by certain parties advertising investment requirements significantly lower than those approved by the Government. The Government takes this very seriously and has never permitted or endorsed any such activities.
The St. Kitts and Nevis Government takes this opportunity to clarify that the following minimum investment levels apply for a single applicant, with no exception:

Five University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) students won the 2nd Annual HP HBCU Business Challenge competition on Nov. 12. The national competition was hosted and sponsored by Hewlett Packard (HP), a multinational enterprise information technology company. The competition is designed to inspire future talent, foster emerging careers in technology and increase student business acumen.
The students representing UVI were Gerald Bellot, Jamilla Connor, Joash Liburd, Joevarny Herbert and Orian Stapleton. Each student will be gifted a HP laptop and printer. If the students choose to apply for one or more open internship positions at HP, they would have the opportunity to present an interview at the HP Boise and Palo Alto locations in California during the week of January 13th. While in California, they will have dinner with the President of HP.
