Buckie Got It….Good morning my dear families and friends I hope that we all had a good night’s rest.

The thought for today reminds us that we should “Seek first to understand, then to be understood.”
Yes, if you call out for insight, and raise your voice for understanding, then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. Proverbs 2:3, 5. Have a blessed Wednesday.

Today’s Tip On Relationship

“Apologizing doesn’t always mean you’re wrong and the other person is right. It just means you value your relationship more than your ego.”

Police Inspector beats woman; threatens to kill her son

Buckie Got It….Police Inspector beats woman; threatens to kill her son

By: Stanford Conway, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – AN irate father is seeking justice for his 21-year-old son whose life was allegedly threatened by an Inspector of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force.

Speaking with this publication, the father explained that on the morning of Sunday (Mar. 19), his son received a telephone call from the Inspector (name provided), who is his mother’s boyfriend, requesting that he go to his home to collect his mother “because they had an argument”.
“My son went to the Inspector’s home and he saw his mother’s face was swollen and blood on her clothes. He learnt that that was a result of a beating she received at the hands of the Inspector. Seeing her in that state, my son made an attempt to charge after him but was held back by his mother.
“The Inspector then ran inside his house and locked the door. After a few minutes, he came back outside, pulled out his gun, cocked it and pointed it at him with a smirk on his face saying: ‘I gone put two @#%@# shells in you chest…I don’t miss. I’d @#%@# kill you. Kill all oru’.”
According to the father, the incident occurred in St. Peter’s.
When asked if he had reported the matter to the police, the father answered in the affirmative but claimed that he was dissatisfied over the response of the officers at the Stapleton Police Station.
“Everyone who’s an officer at the station kept saying that because he is an Inspector, the most that could happen is that they will give him a little talking to,” the father explained.
He also claimed that his son is traumatised and has since been engaged in counselling sessions.
The father declared that he needs the authorities in Basseterre to “look into this matter” and this media house advised him to lodge a complaint with Force Headquarters, where there is a department that deals with such matters.
He however stated that a complaint was made to Superintendent Cromwell Henry, who is the Divisional Commander for that District.
“I complained to Superintendent Henry, who promised that he would look into the matter, but since then I haven’t heard anything about it. The mission of the police is to serve and protect, but who are they really protecting…each other?”
This morning (Mar. 21), SKNVibes contacted Superintendent Henry, who confirmed that he did receive a report on the incident.
“I do know of the incident and a statement was taken from the man’s son. That statement was forwarded to the Office of Professional Standards, where a Senior Officer was charged to investigate the matter. The incident had allegedly occurred on Sunday, three days ago, and the investigation is ongoing. Therefore, no pronouncement can be made or action taken until the investigation concludes.”
