VERCHILDS HIGH WINS 11TH ANNUAL CHEF COMPETITION
Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 30, 2018 (SKNIS): The culinary imaginations of two young male chefs – Tremayne Isaac and Joestan Eddy – representing the Verchilds High School at the Department of Youth’s 11th annual High School Chefs’ competition impressed the judges and earned them the winning title.

Yesterday’s events capped off a competitive and exciting near month-long cook-off challenge.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 30, 2018 (SKNIS): Activities for Youth Month 2018 in St. Kitts climaxed on Friday (November 30) with a street march. Scores of children were led through the streets of Basseterre by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Youth, the Honourable Shawn Richards, drawing public attention to the promising young people.

Soldier, Constable Convicted Of Rape In Nevis

St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): A defense force soldier and a police constable have been found guilty of rape in a Nevis court.

Royston Browne a former member of the SKNDF and Montana Mathias of the RSCNPF were on December 13 2016, charged with raping a female in Nevis.

PRIME MINISTER HARRIS SHOWS APPRECIATION TO HEALTHCARE WORKERS IN HIS CONSTITUENCY

 

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, November 30, 2018 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris spent part of his day on Thursday, November 29, 2018 – 25 years to the day when he was first elected as the Parliamentary Representative for Constituency #7 – reaching out to the elderly and vulnerable persons within his constituency.

Among the places Prime Minister Harris visited was the Mary Charles Hospital in Molineux, where he greeted patients and medical staff on duty.

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, November 30, 2018 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – Proprietor of the Grange Healthcare Facility in Ottley’s Village, Mrs. Patricia Richards-Leader, M.B.E., has again voiced her appreciation for the dedicated support and service rendered by Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris over the years which have led to the advancement of the healthcare facility and improved comfort for residents, staff and visitors.

“Prime Minister Harris really has been a great supporter of the Grange since its inception. Not only are we in his constituency [St. Christopher Seven], but I think that we, in some way, share a birthplace and as a result he has been quite supportive,” said Mrs. Richards-Leader who was born in Tabernacle.
