EAST BASSETERRE CONTINUES TO BENEFIT FROM IAN PATCHES LIBURD SOCIAL ASSISTANCE AND YOUTH DEVELOPMENT FUND .

Minister of Public Infrastructure, Posts, Urban Development , Energy and Transport and Parliamentry Representative for East Basseterre Hon. Ian “Patches” Liburd has remained true to his promise and commitment to the people of East Basseterre through the launch and maintenance of the East Basseterre Social Assistance Fund. Hon. Liburd announced the programme as one of his commitments to the people of East Basseterre during the lead up to the 2015 elections. As one of his many promises to the people of East Basseterre Liburd committed a portion of his monthly salary to the people of East Basseterre .

LeBron James got less than half of his $33 million salary this season — here’s what happened to the rest

By now we know that most athletes’ contracts aren’t what they seem.

Though the numbers in the contracts are enormous, after federal, state, and local taxes, plus fees for agents and other costs, athletes usually ending up taking home close to half of their base salary.

ESPN’s Darren Rovell broke down what LeBron James, the second-highest-paid player in the NBA this season, made from his $33 million contract. While it’s still quite a big number, based on Rovell’s estimate, it’s less than half of that figure.

ECCB reports 3rd Straight Year of Increases in Cruise and Super Yacht Calls and Visitors to St.Kitts-Nevis.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 7, 2018 – The number of cruise visitors and cruise ship calls to St. Kitts and Nevis increased in 2017 for the third consecutive year.

That’s according to the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) which reported increases in cruise visitor arrivals from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and the Caribbean for the period under review.

SHAREHOLDERS LAUD LEADERSHIP OF ST.KITTS-NEVIS-ANGUILLA NATIONAL BANK AS IT RECORDS 40% INCREASE IN PROFITS

The Leadership of the St.Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla NATIONAL Bank Group including the Board of Directors led by Chairman Alexis Nisbett have come in for high praises from shareholders . The commendation from the shareholders came at the Group’s 47th Annual General Meeting held on Thursday May 31st at the Park Hyatt Hotel-St.Kitts. The Meeting drew the largest group of shareholders in recent years with almost 400 persons present at the meeting.
