VHS News line- Saturday 6th April 2019. The GC Department of the Verchilds High School is presently conducting it’s Annual Easter Camp 2019 at the Cotton Ground Community in Nevis.

Troop Leader Kadeem Percival a student at the Verchilds High School reported that 50 Scouts are taking part in the camp. The theme of the camp is “Equipping our son for good success.” Troop Leader Kadeem also reported that the group will be taking part in sessions during the entire week end. Some of the topics to be covered are: A Scout is loyal, A Scout is trusted, A Scout is friendly and considerate, A Scout has courage in all difficulties, A Scout makes good use of time and careful of possessions and property, A Scout has self-respect for others, A scout is helpful, A Scout is courteous, A Scout is kind, A Scout is obedient, A Scout is cheerful, A Scout is thrifty, A Scout is brave, A Scout is clean and a Scout is reverent. The group will be visiting the Four Seasons Hotel, Nevis Prison Farm and the week end track meet.
