Parsons sail into finals of Constituency Number Seven Domino League

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, October 24, 2018 (PLP PR Media Inc.) — Parsons Domino Club on Tuesday evening, October 23, became the first team to secure a place in the finals of the 23rd edition of the annual Constituency Number Seven Dr the Hon Timothy Harris Domino League competition.

In a hotly contested match at the Lodge Community Centre in Lodge Project, the players from Constituency Number Six fought gallantly to beat the immediate former champions of the league, Unity Domino Club, in their second encounter of best of three semi-finals 13-9 to guarantee themselves a place in the finals.

SHOOTING INCIDENT AND ROBBERY IN ST. PAUL’S BEING INVESTIGATED


Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 24, 2018 (RSCNPF):
 Police are investigating an incident in which two armed masked men shot and injured an individual, then robbed two persons in St. Paul’s last night.

Police received a report of a shooting incident that occurred in St. Paul’s at about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday night (October 23). Investigations into the matter so far have revealed that 44-year-old Wayne Connor of St. Paul’s was sitting on wall in the vicinity of a supermarket along the Island Main Road when two masked gunmen ran up from a road and began firing shots at him. The men then made their way up to Rawlins Avenue and robbed two individuals at gun point.

Connor was transported to the JNF Hospital in Basseterre where he is listed as being in a stable condition.

 

Investigations into the matter are ongoing. Persons with information regarding this incident are urged to contact the Violent Crime Unit by dialing 467-1887 or 467-1888, 662-3468.
