sessions of National Assembly into political meetings
Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 15, 2017 – Chairperson of the opposition St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP), Hon. Marcella Liburd has accused Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Michael Perkins of allowing Tuesday’s sitting of the lawmaking body to be turned into a political bashing of Leader of the Opposition, the Right Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas by the Team Unity government in his absence.

Why is female football still an after thought to the SKNFA?
My heart pains as I look around and see how our female footballers are being treated. Gender inequality to the highest! I guess the colloquial term is true “who feels it knows it”.
Are we listening to our players? Are we truly rallying around them pushing them to be the best they can be? If the future of football is “feminine” why is it not being treated that way in SKN?

Timothy Harris is skipping a meeting in Jamaica of regional heads of government, finance ministers, central bank governors, and private-sector representatives at the sixth International Monetary Fund (IMF) High-level Caribbean forum to be held at the Jamaica Pegasus on Thursday.
