Kingston, Jamaica, November 15, 2017 – In order to avoid coming face to face with Caribbean leaders and IMF officials, St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris is skipping a meeting in Jamaica of regional heads of government, finance ministers, central bank governors, and private-sector representatives at the sixth International Monetary Fund (IMF) High-level Caribbean forum to be held at the Jamaica Pegasus on Thursday.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 15, 2017 – One week after news broke that the Barbadian Victor Boyce, the Chief Credit Risk Officer at the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank had tendered his resignation after three months into a three-year contract, the financial institution has become the focus of a number of financial concerns. The majority shareholder is the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis which owns 51 percent of the shares. The Government appoints the directors.

Prince Charles to visit the BVI, Antigua and
Barbuda and Dominica this weekend

Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 15 2017 – Britain’s Prince Charles is to visit Caribbean nations devastated by recent hurricanes Irma and Maria.

The British High Commission in Barbados in a statement Wednesday said during the tour the Prince of Wales will meet members of the local communities and hear about the ways in which they have been recovering since the storms hit the Islands.
