POLICE INVESTIGATING SHOOTING INCIDENT IN CAYON


The Police are investigating a shooting incident in Cayon, St. Kitts, that left thirty-four (34)-year-old Devon Norford of Lover’s Lane, Cayon, nursing a gunshot wound at the back of his head. The criminal act was committed on May 14th, 2024, at the victim’s home in Cayon.
Initial investigations indicate that Mr Norford was accosted in his home by an armed assailant. He barricaded himself in a room to escape the attack. Mr Norford reported that he exited the room a short time after the attack and realised the assailant had previously fled the scene. He then stated that he notified the Police and was shortly thereafter transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital where he was treated and warded in stable condition.
