Circulation of an Invalid Cruise Schedule
Dear Tourism Stakeholders,

The St. Kitts Tourism Authority is aware that an invalid cruise schedule is in circulation for the months of November and December, 2020.

Please note that the St. Kitts Tourism Authority nor their cruise partners have issued an official cruise schedule for the 2020-2021 season. Please disregard all unauthorized schedules.

Authorities in Barbados are looking at the possibility of implementing a test before departure initiative with the Heathrow Airport that would see travellers coming from London receiving a PCR test for COVID-19 just prior to boarding their flight to Barbados.

CDC “No Travel Health Notice” for St. Kitts & Nevis

BASSETERRE (8TH SEPT, 2020): In its latest update on travel recommendations by destination, the CDC has upgraded St. Kitts & Nevis COVID-19 Risk Assessment Level as “No Travel Health Notice: COVID-19 Risk is Very Low.” This assessment classification reinforces that St. Kitts & Nevis is among the safest destinations worldwide for individuals considering travel at this time.  St. Kitts and Nevis is 1 of only 10 Caribbean countries to have this CDC classification.

Update on Safe Harbour of Royal Caribbean Vessels 

BASSETERRE (7th September, 2020): The Royal Caribbean Cruise Line has announced their decision to shift their arrival dates of their two vessels to “safe harbour” in St. Kitts, to the end of September, with the Vision of the Seas expected to arrive on the 26th of September, and the replacement of the Rhapsody of the Seas with the Brilliance of the Seas, which is expected to arrive on or after the 27th of September, 2020. The vessels will arrive with strict adherence to all of the laws and regulations that govern the Federation, including the SRO’s issued under the State of Emergency.

Jamaica pulled from British travel exempt list, Barbados still on

The British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), on Saturday removed Jamaica from its select list of Caribbean countries from which British citizens do not have to undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine when they return home.
