Roll and Handing-Over Ceremony

The UWI Global Campus St Kitts and Nevis. Friday, May 30, 2025 — On Saturday, May 23, 2025, The University of the West Indies (The UWI) Global Campus Guild Executive, St. Kitts and Nevis Chapter, hosted a ceremony to honour sixty-four (64) students who made the Honour Roll for Semester 1, 2024-2025. Thirty-four (34) students were from St Kitts and thirty (30) students from Nevis. These students achieved a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.6 or higher in Semester 1 of academic year 2024-2025.

The St. Kitts Music Festival is gearing up for another spectacular year, with the main reason being the incredible lineup for 2025. This year’s festival promises a diverse range of musical genres, including reggae, dancehall, R&B, and soca. In addition, Stringband music will be introduced for the first time.

Multiple US-Canadian University Scholarships Informational

Basseterre, St. Kitts: Global Studies Associate Vice President Dr Randy Glean of Western Illinois University will host an informational programme at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College on the afternoon of Thursday 5th June, along with representatives of St. George’s University, Grenada, and University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada.  Several other institutions will join virtually.  The event is scheduled for 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Poinciana Conference Room of the Burdon Street Campus of the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College.

SRSP RECEIVES EC$16,000 SPONSORSHIP CHEQUE TO ENHANCE ROAD SAFETY AND LAUNCH PUBLIC EDUCATION SERIES
 

Basseterre, Saint Kitts, May 30, 2025 (SKNIS): The Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis, through the Sustainable Road Safety Project (SRSP) Inter-Ministerial Steering Committee, has received a generous sponsorship from S.L. Horsford Finance Company Limited, acting as agents for Guardian Group, to support national road safety enhancements.
 

At a brief handover ceremony, an EC$16,000 cheque was delivered to Attorney-General and SRSP Chairperson, the Honourable Garth Wilkin, by Mrs Kasia Walters, Insurance Manager of S.L. Horsford Finance Company. This sponsorship will fund the design, manufacturing, and installation of new high-visibility traffic signage and road markings at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) Roundabout, which connects Frigate Bay Road, Kim Collins Highway, Pond Road, and Bird Rock Road.
