37 CITIZENS OF ST. KITTS AND NEVIS BENEFIT FROM TAIWANESE SCHOLARSHIP

Basseterre: St. Kitts, Monday, August 10, 2026:​ Thirty-seven (37) citizens from the Federation
of St. Christopher and Nevis were awarded scholarships by the Taiwan Ministry of Foreign
Affairs (MOFA) and the Taiwan International Cooperation Development Fund (ICDF) at a
ceremony held at the St. Kitts Marriott Beach Resort Ballroom on Saturday August 08.


Ambassador Edward Tao announced an increase in the number of available scholarships and
asked the recipients to show deep gratitude for the opportunity they received,

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) reports that a quantity of assorted ammunition was recovered during a joint search operation conducted at an empty lot at Agnes Skerrit Street, New Road, St. Kitts, on July 28th , 2026, by the Anti- Narcotics Unit and Special Services Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF), the Joint Security Operational Tactical Team (JSOTT), and the St. Kitts- Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF).

Treisha Boyles of Molineux, St. Kitts, has been charged with the offences of Misconduct in Public Office and Perverting the Course of Justice, both committed between November 19th, 2025, and July 7th, 2026; and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Supply, and Conveying Contraband into His Majesty’s Prison, committed on November 19th, 2025.
