Five months after hurricanes Irma and Maria

Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 6, 2018 – Five months after hurricanes Irma and Maria caused “minimal damage” to St. Kitts and Nevis and four months before the official start of the 2018 Hurricane Season, most of the 350 National Housing Corporation (NHC)-built homes damaged by the storms still have tarpaulins covering their roofs.

“What About Our Health?”- Constituents To Hamilton
Hon. Eugene Hamilton has come under fire from his constituents who are strongly of the view that their elected representative is proving to be nothing more than a dust-catching ornament in the PAM/CCM/PLP government.
Residents of constituency number eight and more so, those of the Cayon area, are furious with Hamilton following the recent ground-breaking ceremony of a major health center in Tabernacle.
This, constituents expressed, is seen as a major disrespect because Hamilton serves as the senior Minister of Health and persons are now noting the vast difference in life in Cayon as opposed to in Tabernacle.
