Six serving and two retired prison officers awarded at a special appreciation service

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, March 4, 2019 (PLP PR Media Inc.) — For the second time in as many years, officers of Her Majesty’s Prison in Basseterre and Prison Farm in Nevis were on Sunday March 3 recognised and honoured at a special appreciation and thanksgiving worship service, held at the Calvary Baptist Tabernacle in Romney Ground, Sandy Point.

Two years ago, on Sunday April 30, 2017 the Ministry of National Security held the first-ever Employee Awards Appreciation Ceremony for Her Majesty’s Prison at the Immanuel Methodist Church in Sandy Point.

PM Harris calls on young people to apply for vacancies in law enforcement services

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, March 4, 2019 (PLP PR Media Inc.) — About 100 vacancies exist in the country’s law enforcement services, and Prime Minister Dr the Hon Timothy Harris is calling on disciplined and hardworking young men and women to apply for the positions.

Prime Minister Harris, who is also the Minister of National Security, made the appeal on Sunday March 3 at the Calvary Baptist Tabernacle in Romney Ground, Sandy Point where a special service of appreciation and thanksgiving for officers of Her Majesty’s Prison was held.
