NIA CHARLESTOWN NEVIS (March 23, 2017) — Terrence Craig, Organisation of American States (OAS) Representative to St. Kitts and Nevis, hailed the historic two-day Sub-Regional Women’s Forum on the SDGs. He said the conference brings into focus the need for more women in the political arena in the region.

Mr. Craig’s comment came when he spoke with the Department of Information following the opening ceremony on March 22, 2017. He urged women to take up the mantle to help in the development of their communities.

THE 10–HOLE SHORT COURSE IN THE BAHAMAS WILL BE PART OF A PARADISE PROPERTY AND PRIVATE CLUB ON THE ISLAND OF ELEUTHERA.

 

ELEUTHERA, The Bahamas, Tuesday March 21, 2017 – American golfer Tiger Woods is leading the design of a 10–hole short course in the Bahamas as part of a paradise property and private club in Rock Sound on the island of Eleuthera.

Jack’s Bay, the development announced by Woods’ TGR Design, Jack’s Bay Developers, and Beacon Land Development, will be home to the region’s first Woods-designed golf course.

“I am honoured to be part of this spectacular project in paradise,” said Woods. “The amazing convergence of land and sea calls for an equally unique and incredible golf experience that TGR Design can deliver. The golf course complements this luxury resort destination because it’s designed for golfers to have fun, while still being challenged.
